Fire Prevention

The Madison Fire Department has multiple personnel who are Certified Fire Safety Inspectors. These firefighters and officers are capable of performing Fire Inspections for Compliance with the Ohio Fire Code. If needed, these individuals work with business in Madison Township to ensure corrections are made to provide the safest community possible for our residents and visitors.

In addition to performing Fire Inspections, the Fire Prevention Bureau works with schools and businesses to perform multiple forms of Fire Safety Education. From the most basic education for elementary school children to education for businesses on proper use of a fire extinguisher, we are prepared to teach our citizens.

If you require education in any form, please contact the Fire Prevention Bureau at (419) 589-5555
